In Memory of Prof. Ratan Prakash Agarwal

The Ganit Ratna Award was instituted in Memory &  honour of Prof. Ratan Prakash Agarwal—a visionary academician, devoted educator, and passionate advocate of mathematical excellence.

His scholarly contributions were both profound and far-reaching. Among them, his acclaimed work “Resonance of Ramanujan’s Mathematics” (Volumes 1, 2 & 3) stands as a testament to his enduring fascination with the genius of Srinivasa Ramanujan, and his lifelong commitment to preserving and amplifying India’s mathematical legacy.

Prof. Agarwal’s name is synonymous with integrity, intellectual depth, and tireless service to the research community. His ideals continue to guide the Ganit Ratna Award’s mission i.e to honour mathematical excellence with humility, honesty, and purpose.

About Ganit Ratna Award
